I was trying to think of something un holiday related to do. When I finally thought about it I felt like such an idiot. What's something you use have have with you at all times? Your phone! I thought of 4 different ideas for a new super cute phone case. e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e eeeeeeeeeee e e e e e e e e e e e
1.I used 3 different kinds of washi tape but you could use as many as you want. after you decide, just cut them into strips and place them into a type of V-shape. d d d d d d d d d d
After that just keep placing them the same way all the way down d d d d d  d d d d d d
 *for the actually phone case you can use literally any old phone case or a plane white one. And that's it for that one. d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d

2. All that is needed for this one is: e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e  e e e e e e  e
  • a white phone case d d d d  dd d d d d d d d d d d  d d d d d dd d d d d d
  • letter stickers e e e e e  e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e
  • markers or sharpies d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d
e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e
Start with the plane white phone case and with the stickers add a saying of your choice.
Then, with the markers just add some detail to it and make it look a little more decorative.

3. Needed:
  • clear phone case
  • scrapbook paper
First, trace and cut out your phone from the scrapbook paper so that it can fit into the phone case.
Put the cut out into the phone case and trace where the camera hole needs to go, trace and cut that out as well
*to add some detail just take some studs and glue them onto the back in any kind of design.

4. This one takes some time at the beginning but is all worth it in the end. It's the Emoji case.
So same with this one start with a clear case because the emoji will be glued one from the inside.
Go onto google and print out your favorite emoji’s
After you have printed them cut them out (this is what takes time)
-Once they are cut out apply a thin layer of mod podge and place the emoji’s in whatever pattern you would like them to be.
Final step: apply another layer of mod podge, let it dry and all done.

Pom Poms

“It’s a nit bit chilly out here”
It's about time. The weather is starting to finally getting cold! What's the better time to start wearing hats. Now! duh. But… what are the best types of hats to wear? POM POM hats. Super cute plus they keep your ears warm.

Pump...Kin

It the perfect time!! Go out with the fam and pick pumpkins. af a fsd dfsd gds gkh j ugh hu j

Well for myself, we spent most of the weekend stuck in bales of straw, picking out “the perfect pumpkin.” We may have made the decision just a little bit to hard on ourselves. But it was the best way to get the fall vibes stirring, and everything is now decorates for the season.

It's always difficult to start a decorating project, so why not keep this one simple and fun. With only four essentials you can create the full front yard decor. Let's get started!
dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan
Hay, Hay… see what I did there. Anyway get a couple bales of hay to start your base. For my own I chose one of each then stacked to two small on top. You could do as much or as little as you would like to have. It all matters when choosing the rest of the goodies.

Pumpkins + Gourds… And this is where it all begins. They both come in countless shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. Keep it simple with shades of orange, or funky patterns, or shades of gray. Pick your palette. The possibilities are endless. For my size of haystack I choose around 7 all different sizes. dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan da
a few tips:
  • wear gloves when picking up hay
  • check the pumpkin before buying, make sure there are no little critters
  • grab a friend and make a day out of it!

Mum Love… what else is better for some pop of color than the bundles of fall blooms. Don't be afraid to get creative. You can pick from pick to more natural tones or forest green. They tend to soften the haystack and keep everything feeling sweet.

And the last thing. Add little details!  for example grab a cornhusks and use them as a smaller accessory. Wrapping them in ribbon or twine is a good way to make them look good and keeps them from rolling around.

Rain?

Rain, Rain go away come again another day…..
Okay not really, I love the rain! But really I just cleaned the house and everyone keeps coming in with wet shoes. Fall is here, any nobody can help but step on crunchy leaves. After cutting along the pencil marks, poke through the cutouts and head outside and tape the poster to the mat. * you could also use push pins for extra support* start painting color into the cutout space. Spray more than one coat making sure everything is covered up.
*for paint make sure to get a strong enough to resist the moisture without smearing off.*

Just let it out to dry before setting it outside and its good to go.

The point of this “ hanging free library” is for people to come by and take a book but also leave one in exchange. It's my favorite because it also includes your friends and family. This idea makes reading exciting and personal and helps open the mind to try new things.

First, you choose your 5 thickest branches for the base. Take the copper wire, and start wrapping the branches together.  Copper wire is extremely strong and will keep the base stable when heavy books are place. Take the other 4 branches and “tee-pee” tie them together.

Attach the bottom of the 4 branches to the 4 corners of the base wire. Make sure to wrap it tightly. Once the structure is built and secure, begin decorating. And that where the fun begins. The hart part is over and from you you can take over.

After decorating, to hang the library you can just braid some rope and place your new library wherever you would like.

Mornings… What do most mornings require?
Coffee!

Now we all know coffee every morning is probably not the best thing for your health. But the smell of coffee never harmed anybody.

The kitchen is a place where a lot of families gather around to stories or just some plain old bonding time. What's also in the kitchen, that funky odor from the garbage and disposal. ahj ef as fa f af af a fae  afag g ga sg u s gua h jn jb jb a f asg asg asg dsf a

Materials:

Now, you may be asking yourself what is she thinking with all these weird ingredients? Just wait.  Used coffee grounds are the best way to achieve a cleaner, fresher kitchen, leaving a yummy smell. And also a great way to reuse the ground coffee that usually ends up in the trashcan.jh nsgf uas fu shdf jhsa gf iuh shafgsuf jhsafdjhs hsdf h h isudf ak kjaf iausfh siuf mkl

First you mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
-Coffee grounds
-salt
-baking soda
Coffee grounds keep the fragrance strong and pleasent. You can also throw this into your garbage disposal and it creates many magical things. The coffee sharpens the blade while the baking soda naturally cleans the disposal and the salt breaks up hard water stains and fritty buildup. j h ku gh ia drg hks jdf hg iu s yd i g u shd i f g u h s d ufg hdi sf g h ids uh f gi
* Stir the dry ingredients up until everything is blended well. Slowly begin to add the Apple cider vinegar to the bowl. The baking soda may start to bubble up just like a science project.

The mixture should start to look like smooth wet sand. Pull out the baking sheet and your measuring spoon, and start scooping out like you would ice-cream onto the baking sheet.

Afterwards, just simply let the coffee bombs dry overnight, Then you can just place them in any kind of jar you would like and place it next to the sink. When needed just drop one down the drain, turn on the hot water and the disposal. And the best part ENJOY the coffee smell with a clean sink. jfhga iujhai jadsfb jb fj u  jhiuh iuh iu bj  uj hkjb  jkb kjba asgfsf fdu uj j kj  as fd asfsf j  njks

Wood?

Perfect weather right now! Rain, lightening, and even some sunshine.

What else is better than jamming out to some of your favorite songs then during a rainstorm.

You guessed it nothing.

NOTHING. What are we making ourselves this time?
A wooden dock just for your phone.

I saw this beautiful idea one time and just saved it for later. Now seems like the best time to build it. People are cutting down trees and throwing their bark away, what's under the bark… pieces of wood that would be perfect for this DIY.
The good thing about this is you can make the wood any shape you would like. Ill just keep mine simple.

What to use:
  • A piece of wood
  • lightning cable
  • hot glue gun
  • drill
  • Sand paper
1: Choose your piece of wood

2:  With the sandpaper make sure your piece of wood is sanded on both sides. If you would like you could even add some color with paint just remember to use more or a mirror finish look. For mine I went with the more natural look.

3: Then with the drill cut off the space you need for your phone. At first I started eyeballing it. As soon as I thought I was getting closer to finishing, I drew some pencil guidelines to help out a bit.

4: I drilled the hole in the center for the head of the lightning cable to fit thru. I also kind of gave it a slight lean so the phone could sit a bit.

5: Then it was time for the hot glue gun. THe hard part here is deciding how much of the cable you actually want poking out of the dock and testing it with the phone. Once you place the hot glue you only have a few seconds to place it, so make sure you have thought it threw perfectly.

6: Fill in the remaining gaps in the hole with glue, let it cool and do the same to the other side.

7: The last step is to apply a thick layer of self-adhesive on the base. This is just designed to protect the surface that your dock will sit on and also hides the messy cables to keep the dock flat.

All this wrapped up: Carve a spot for your phone. Smooth, polish and stain, drill a hole for your cable, glue it in place. Flatten the base. And that it!

School supplies

In honor of starting senior year in high school almost 3 months ago….
Back to school DIY’s!!
Let's be honest though. Not very many supplies are needed so why not customise them and make them your own style.
All this will be easy, cute and cheap.
  1. Pencil case/pouch
  • simply get one of your favorite fabrics and cut it out into whatever shape or stencil you want
  • make sure there are 2 of them with the pattern on the outside
  • next cut one of the hearts in half (Yes, sadly you have now broken your own heart.)
  • that cut is just clearing up a spot to where the zipper will go. To attach it you can either sew it or use glue
  • just draw a line on the inside of the broken heart and secure the zipper, just repeat to the other side. From there you have just filled in the gap in the heart. ( Trim down any excess zipper there may be)
  • to attach both heart together just face them both in and again you can use hot/fabric glue or sew it together.
*make sure you unzip the zipper about halfway before doing this step, just so when you got to flip it right side out you are good to go!
And that it for a pencil pouch. Super easy right, and just the way you like it.

SHALL WE TRY ONE MORE?

2. Personalized Binder
  • Find your favorite wrapping paper and any old/new/ or recycled binder
  • Simply cut triangles at the metal ring top and bottom and a straight cut at each corner.
  • fold in each section. Preferably start with the top and bottom. Just like a present fold in the corner of the long edge so it has a clean corner once it is folded in.
  • Get some cardstock paper add some hot glue and place it up against the metal ring. This is just so it covers the back of the wrapping paper.
  • Can always add a cute label or sticker to the front and guess what!
You are done…
3. Cute pencils
  • All you need is pencils, any color of paint and a brush

Now how many pencils do we lend and never ever get back? So many! this way you can tell what is yours and leave a of you with everyone who never returns the pencils.
  • All you have to do is paint the pencil with whatever color you would like it to be
  • once the paint has dried you can use the lead of a pencil as a brush and draw any design on the pencil
And they is pretty much it for your new pencils

And that's your DIY your school supplies to spice them up and make them more cute and unique
